For over 20 years, Jay was a highly trained investment professional building long-term relationships with his clients. He started his investment career in 1985 with Ferris Baker Watts, and moved to J.W. Gant Investment Bankers in Columbia Maryland in 1987. From 1989 to 1999, he served as an Assistant Vice President in the Merrill Lynch Columbia, Maryland office. In 1999, he moved to the Columbia, Maryland office of Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Updike founded what is now called Mid Atlantic Networking in 2002 as an independent endeavor, and he has served as CEO and President since that time. He holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola College School of Business in Baltimore, Maryland, and BS in Economics and Business from Western Maryland College in Westminster, Maryland.

For over 30 years, Lowell has been an entrepreneur, networker and wellness consultant. He started his career with WBAL Radio in Baltimore; was employed as Sales Manager with Global Import Auto Parts; and was an account executive and East Coast Sales Manager for Ingram Entertainment.
For over 30 years, Lowell has owned Sheets & Associates, a health business aligned with the Shaklee Corporation (www.shaklee.net/lowell), and has been full-time self-employed therein since 1991. He is active with Harford County Chamber of Commerce and with BNI, having served multiple times in various leadership positions.
Lowell graduated Valedictorian from Harford Christian High School, and Phi Theta Kappa from Harford Community College with a degree in Broadcast Announcing and Production. He also received two Congressional nominations for the Military Academy at West Point, and one Congressional nomination for the Air Force Academy.
